Guide to My Inbox

My Inbox allows you to view messages and to-do items sent from government online services and MyGovHK.

Go to My Online Services and My Subscriptions to choose the services and notifications you are interested in, and you will receive related messages in your inbox. 

Four default labels are created in My Inbox:

“My Reminders” label

  • Reminder messages you set for to-do items in To-do List

“My General Messages” label

  • Messages from different government departments and MyGovHK regarding their online services and notifications

“My eBill Messages” label

  • Messages related to government eBills issued by different government online services, e.g. electronic demands for rates and Government rent (eRVD Bill)

“My Upcoming Events” label

  • Activity notices or updates from government departments

You can also create new labels to organise your messages and notifications.

Points to note

  • Messages and to-do items in Inbox and Archive will be automatically and permanently removed in 2 years.
  • Messages in Trash will be permanently removed in 3 months.
